My photography featured in BLEUDENIM's blog!

My pictures from the 2nd Chance Charity Photoshoot have a linkback on BLEUDENIM's blog here! BLEUDENIM is currently a street style blog with the vision of starting a store in Paris. The pictures actually posted in the blog are from other photographers and the blog writers themselves, but my little link appears after the first two pictures. :)

2nd Chance Charity Photoshoot

Just Cure Paralysis
2nd Chance Fashion Show Photoshoot
December 5-9, 2010
http://www.justcureparalysis.org/

Paralysis has been on the back burner as it pertains to research and aid. Many of the victims have suffered not only the corporeal obstacles, but also from the lack of support and attention from society. This fashion show is going to “make a movement to help those who cannot move, move forward”. We are supporting the “Just Cure Paralysis Foundation” by doing the following:
  • Bring awareness
  • Raise funds
  • Make a statement
  • Build connections for future events
  • Raise $10,000.00
The photoshoot portion of the project took place last week. Hair, makeup, and styling were done by Harry Jefferson. Dresses by Jeury Rosario. Here are some candid photos and snapshots from the "Red Carpet" outside the studio area!

Introductory Post

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog, where I will keep my information about my latest business ventures and professional services up-to-date, as well as the occasional feature about something I find cool or interesting, or to introduce you to something or someone new!

Currently I have some very exciting prospects in the works.
1. Rehired at my previous job as an IT Intern at a high-tech networking company. I interned at a company during winter break last year, worked part-time after school until April, then completed the school year with a senior internship there (aka full-time job instead of going to high school!). I also worked there over the summer and am pumped about going back for winter break!
2. Wicked College App - check us out on Facebook and Twitter!
3. My friend is revamping his company to become an entire event service company - including makeup/hair, photography, and videography! He wants myself and another student here who he has worked with before to head up the photography team, and I'm really excited about it! His company has been selected to receive funding from the school, so let's hope it's a good amount!
4. Starting an Etsy account (friendship bracelets, knitted products, pencil cases/coin purses, t-shirt bags) with my friend from school! Just to make some money on the side, and get in tune with our creative side.
5. My own photography gigs. I don't have any scheduled right now, but I'm on the lookout for some! Mostly it's just to keep up with my photography because I don't pick up my camera nearly as much as I used to before school started.

That's all for now!
